Jackline is one of the Directors and Team lead of SEQART AFRICA. As the company’s Team Lead, Jackline serves as the executive head and in charge of leading the management. Her main role is to manage day to day operations of the company. Also, she offers support to the Wet Lab and Analytics team in various aspects of the Genotyping by Sequencing workflow. Prior to joining SEQART, Jackline worked as Research officer under the Integrated Genotyping Service and Support (IGSS) at the BecA-ILRI hub.

Jackline underwent one-year training on genomics laboratory technical skills and basic data analysis at Diversity Arrays Technology (DArT) in Canberra, Australia. She previously worked as an intern fellow at USAMRU, KEMRI, KALRO and ILRI where she gained experience in Molecular work. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Technology from The University of Nairobi.

Outside work Jackline enjoys spending time with family, exploring the world, reading and listening to music.
