Michael Gerba as a Director of Seqart Africa advises the Team Lead in managing the day-to-day operations of the company. He is a senior executive with over 20 year’s experience in both the non-profit and private sectors. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer at International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) based in Nairobi, Kenya. He held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at the International Potato Center in Lima, Peru and as a Senior Manager of Program Operations at Land O’Lakes International Development. He also serves as a Board Member of the Association of International Agricultural Research Centers and a Board Trustee of the International Agricultural Research Centers Retirement Plan Trustee.

Michael is a citizen of the United States of America has an MBA from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University. He served two years as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Nicaragua.
